Longton Live 2025 is back and it’s bigger, bolder, and more festive than ever! The annual two-day live music celebration is a highlight in South Ribble’s calendar, drawing in crowds from across the region who come to enjoy a rich mixture of entertainment, food, drink, and community spirit.
Running from 27th June 2025 to 28th June 2025, between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm each night, this well-loved event transforms the charming town of Longton into a vibrant hub of live entertainment. Pubs, clubs, restaurants, and community spaces all become temporary stages for a huge range of musical acts from up-and-coming local artists to well-established performers creating a unique weekend atmosphere for all ages.
With numerous venues participating across the town, and large crowds expected to gather, planning your transport in advance is key. The last thing you want is to find yourself stranded without a ride home or battling for parking in a busy area. Hopton’s Bar:
A more family-friendly venue under 18s are allowed here with an adult, but only up until 9 pm.

The Ram's Head:
This popular spot has a more flexible policy, although it's worth checking directly if you’re unsure.
Tip: The policy isn’t specified, but it's always a good idea to check in advance if you’re attending with children.
Orchid Café and Bar:
This venue welcomes children under 18 until 8 pm (with supervision), afterwards it's adult-only.

Open to all, this is a wonderful spot for all ages, and a nice break from the bustling pub scene.
Longton WI Hall:
Also a family-friendly, alcohol-free space perfect for those who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere.
Outdoor Stage:
This is a great spot for a more casual, free-entry experience. There’s no age policy here it’s a wonderful place to bring children and enjoy some live entertainment in the fresh air.
